Here's what the humans have to say about me:
St. Lawrence is a stunning, fluffy 2½-year-old black-and-white long-haired cat with a hint of Maine Coon charm.
Her early life was unique and challenging, which has made her understandably cautious around people, other animals, and unfamiliar noises. During her two years in foster care, while her sister Valencia gradually came out of her shell, St. Lawrence remained shy and relied heavily on Valencia for comfort and reassurance. The two are deeply bonded and must be adopted together.
St. Lawrence would thrive in a quiet, spacious home without dogs, other cats, or children—an environment where she can feel safe, secure, and truly at ease. A larger home with plenty of room to explore, roam, and discover cozy, tucked-away spots for napping would suit her perfectly.
When you visit, you’ll most likely find St. Lawrence cuddled up with Valencia in their favorite spot—curled together at the bottom of their beloved cat tree, often resting on their red blanket. Gentle voices, slow movements, and giving St. Lawrence the time and space to approach on her own terms will go a long way in earning her trust.
We truly believe that Valencia and St. Lawrence will flourish together in a peaceful, loving home where they can feel safe, cherished, and understood.
St. Lawrence is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She can be met daily at the shelter between 12–6 p.m. For more information, please email adoptions@caspca.org.

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
