Meet Trixie 💖

Trixie is the definition of a gentle giant. This beautiful 3-year-old Rottweiler has a calm, easygoing spirit and the sweetest, most loving personality. She currently weighs about 71 pounds and is a bit underweight, but once she’s filled out, we expect her to be a healthy ~85 pounds of pure love.

Trixie was found as a stray and has clearly had several litters in her past, but those days are behind her now. She’s safe, cherished, and getting all the care she deserves. Despite everything she’s been through, she is incredibly gentle and trusting with people.

We're open to the public Saturdays from 10am - 2pm. Appointments are available during the week.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
