Missy is a fun-loving, affectionate girl with just the right mix of playful and cuddly. She is crate trained but will never turn down the chance to curl up on the couch and snuggle with her favorite person. One of her cutest habits is “collecting” toys—if you peek into her crate, you’ll usually find a hidden stash she’s borrowed from her doggy friends when they weren’t looking.
Missy is very food motivated and always tuned in for the next command, making her eager and easy to train. She seems to be fully house trained and had zero accidents in the home or her crate when kept on a schedule. She loves a good game of tug, whether it’s with people or other dogs, and she gets along great with both small and large pups.
Missy greets her people standing up on her back legs (it’s unbelievably cute—pictures don’t do it justice!) and travels well in the car. With her sweet nature, playful spirit, and loving heart, Missy would make a wonderful companion for just about any home.

Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

Located in central North Carolina and officially established in 2004, Saving Grace has placed over 15,000 dogs into homes since its inception. These dogs were from rural animal control facilities with little resources and who would otherwise not had the opportunity to receive necessary veterinary care and a chance at adoption. While we have grown significantly over the years and have been successful growing our numbers we still see many great dogs miss the opportunity of adoption.
We have a large variety of dogs varying in breed, size, shape, age and needs and would love to work with you to find you a great dog companion while providing a dog in need with a loving home. Our dogs are chosen based on temperament and socialization. We get some of the most charming, unique mix breeds as well as some striking purebreds. Our dogs come from rural, underserved areas and while they may have little experience as an indoor family member, they have the temperament and personality that is sure to bring much love and appreciation to their new home. Most have started their crate training while in our program. Veterinary care including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, monthly preventatives are provided prior to each adoption.
