Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Goose. Goose joined the NorCal family when his owners could no longer take care of him, due to his need for socialization and training. Goose is a joy to have around the house, but when taken out into the real world, he is scared, skittish, nervous and reactive on leash. Goose is not aggressive, he just does not appear to know how to react with other dogs and will bark and lunge and find it difficult to relax. These types of behaviors can be managed with some consistent training. Goose is affectionate, loving and loyal but also is not good with small children. This is also a common behavior with unsocialized, untrained dog.
Goose needs a secure, fenced yard to run around and explore, although he wants you to be in the yard with him. He has some separation anxiety and needs to be in a home with someone that can be with him the majority of the time. Goose is potty trained, but again needs your assurance.
Goose is a total love and enjoys his snuggles and pets. He needs a patient owner that can help him grow into the best dog he can be.
If you are interested in Goose, please go on our website and fill out an adoption application.
