Rouky est un petit garçon d`une grande douceur. Entre deux courses effrénées dans la maison, il adore se blottir sur vos genoux et y dormir. C`est aussi le roi du mélodrame lorsqu`il a faim ou veut de l`attention. Ses vocalises désespérées vous feront sourire à tout coup.
Il est inséparable de son frère Nookie—l`un ne va pas sans l`autre pour les jeux ou les siestes. Ils devront être adoptés ensemble. Vous y gagnerez une paire de petits tannants pour ensoleiller vos journées!

Rouky is a very sweet little boy. Between zoomies around the house, he loves to cuddle on your lap and sleep. He`s also the king of drama when he`s hungry or wants your attention. His desperate meows will make you smile every time.
He`s inseparable from his brother Nookie—always together for games and naps. They need to be adopted together. You`ll be granted a pair of little rascals who will bring sunshine to your days!

Most of the animals available for adoption are at our shelter, on Jean-Talon Street in Montréal. Please come meet them during our opening hours. Note the wait time can be several hours on Saturdays and Sundays so, if you can, come by on a weekday instead!

More about this shelter

Founded in Montreal in 1869, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (now known simply as the Montreal SPCA) was the first animal-welfare organization in Canada. It is not known under whose influence the society was formed, but its history acknowledges assistance from animal-welfare societies in France, England and the United States. In its early years, the SPCA concentrated primarily on improving the treatment of work horses, which were used all across the island of Montreal. The SPCA later began working on additional issues, such as humane dog control, cock-fighting and the killing of wild birds. The SPCA has come a long way since its beginnings: today, it is the largest animal-protection organization in Quebec, speaking on behalf of animals wherever there is ignorance, cruelty, exploitation or neglect.
