Professor Picklebeans is a striking tuxedo gentleman with a crisp black-and-white coat that says formal occasion even when he’s just lounging on the couch. His early life wasn’t easy—he came from very poor living conditions—but rather than letting that define him, the Professor has chosen a full glow-up. These days, he believes firmly in soft blankets, full food bowls, and gentle affection… and honestly, who can blame him?Despite his rough start, Professor Picklebeans is exceptionally sweet. He enjoys pets, quiet companionship, and being close to his people—while pretending he’s absolutely not following you from room to room.Professor Picklebeans is FIV positive, which sounds scarier than it actually is. In reality, it simply means:He can live a long, happy, and normal life He does not require medication for FIV, but regular veterinary care is importantHe can be a happy solo cat or live with other cats in the right environmentWhen it comes to living with other cats, FIV is not spread through casual contact like sharing food bowls, grooming, or lounging together. Transmission typically occurs through deep bite wounds, so Professor Picklebeans would do best in a calm, low-drama household with friendly, non-aggressive cats. He may live with other FIV-positive cats, or in some cases with FIV-negative cats when introductions are slow and personalities are compatible. Think of it as a potentially lower immune system that just means regular vet care and a little extra TLC—paired with an extremely high charm level. Adopting Professor Picklebeans means giving a second chance to a cat who will absolutely not take it for granted.
