My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Croissant didn’t choose the motel life — the motel life chose him. When his previous owner was forced to leave suddenly, this gentle, golden‑eyed sweetheart was left behind in the parking lot, waiting faithfully for someone who never came back. But even in the middle of all that uncertainty, Croissant never lost his soft spirit. He's a beautiful, sweet cat with a calm, affectionate nature. The kind who leans into your hand when you pet him, who blinks slowly to say “thank you,” and who curls his tail around your leg like he's known you forever. He loves warm laps, sunny windowsills, and anyone willing to offer him a little kindness. Despite everything he’s been through, he’s blossoming into a confident, trusting companion. He’s ready for a home where he’ll never be left behind again — a place where his gentle heart and quiet resilience can finally be cherished. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal cat with a story that makes you want to scoop him up and promise him the world, Croissant is waiting. He is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for felv/fiv. His adoption fee is $100.00.

More about this rescue

Cool Cats Rescue is often focused on helping animals that are often overlooked. This includes community & TNR cats/kittens, e-listed dogs from our county shelters, cleft palate, puppies, aggressive and other "less desirable" pets that may need extra TLC, time, patience, and understanding before finding their forever homes. We are committed to building a supportive community of fosters, trainers, veterinarians,, and resources for the animals that we believe are in the most need--we even partner with other local rescues, a veteran's assistance program, a homeless assistance program, and a working cat program (mousers) to form creative solutions for our rescued cats.
