I have been working with the Behavior team at OHS and I'm looking for a special home. It will take time and patience to get to know me. Click the "meet me" button to start the process and schedule an appointment.

Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.

My previous foster parents (who have nicknamed me "Toe Bean") say I'm the best! They said I loved the outdoors, watching my favorite TV show (Bluey), & playing with my pittie foster brother.

I had so much fun meeting other dogs here in the shelter. My friends at OHS think I would be great at making new dog friends! I can't wait to find some new best friends to chase, wrestle, cuddle, and walk with!

In my foster home, I did really good with potty training!
I am still learning how to walk on leash, especially in new environments that can be overwhelming. I need verbal encouragement, patience and of course treats from you to help me!

The type of home I'm looking for:

I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

I may do best in a home where there is another dog to help boost my confidence and for me to play with!

I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.

Loud noises and unpredictable movements can make me uncomfortable, I would do best in a home with calm, older children.

Oregon Humane Society’s Portland and Salem campuses are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days per week. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, please take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby. Our Customer Care team will be happy to assist you with the next steps.
