Meet our beautiful love muffin, Maudie! This 2 yr old Chocolate Lab weighs in at a solid 80 lbs. After coming from a life of neglect, Maudie can be a little shy at first, but give her just a bit of time and she blossoms into the most gentle, affectionate, and loyal companion.
Maudie is great with other dogs and totally fine with cats. She's a laidback, easygoing girl who loves her new, calm, cozy environment. She's also very smart! She's already crate trained, walking nicely on a leash, and doing wonderfully with potty training… she's getting the hang of both potty pads and going outside like a champ. While Maudie doesn't live with young kids in her foster home, she has been nothing but tolerant and sweet with the ones she's met.
When Maudie arrived, she was in heat, but she is now officially spayed (hallelujah!), fully vetted, vaccinated, 4DX heartworm tested negative, dewormed, treated for Giardia, microchipped, and 100% ready for her forever family. Her adoption donation fee is $425.

We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you. Thank you for choosing adoption!!
