My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rapids is a sweet and handsome boy who absolutely adores cuddles and attention. He loves being near his people, soaking up pets and happily accepting all the affection you’re willing to give. When he’s not snuggled up beside you, you’ll often find him perched proudly on a cat tree, he loves having a high spot to lounge, survey his kingdom, and relax in comfort.

This charming guy enjoys catnip play sessions and can’t resist Churu treats and tasty wet food, the way to his heart is definitely through snacks and snuggles!

Rapids has lived with other cats in his home, so with a proper, slow introduction, he should do very well with feline friends. He’s used to sharing his space and just needs a little time to adjust at his own pace.

If you’re looking for a loving companion with movie-star looks, a love for cozy cuddles, and a passion for cat trees, Rapids might just be your perfect match. 💕

More about this rescue

Founded in 1990, Nuzzles and Co (formerly Friends of Animals Utah) was just a small group of animal lovers lobbying for a new shelter facility. Today, we are a full-fledged animal rescue and rehabilitation organization with an adoption center, dedicated staff and board of trustees, and a 15,000 sq. ft. facility that includes a full veterinary suite, indoor and outdoor training spaces, miles of hiking trails, and a community cat room with an attached "catio."
