Jupiter came to us thanks to an incredible good Samaritan who took in a very skinny stray mama who had just given birth under someone’s house. He kept her and all her babies safe and loved until they were old enough to be weaned. Once the pups were ready, he reached out to us, and that’s how Jupiter and her siblings found their way into our care.
Jupiter is an 8-week-old firecracker with the softest, sweetest soul. She’s the shyest of her sibling trio, but she has come such a long way in her foster home. While she’s still learning to trust people, once she knows she’s safe she has the cutest little bursts of bravery—trotting up for pets like a very proud, very brave girl.
She may be shy with humans, but with her siblings she’s a full-on zoomies master, and she’s even starting to play with her bigger foster brother, Jaxon (a ZAR alum, formerly Panda) who is 50lbs. At first she was unsure—she and her siblings had never seen other dogs before—but she’s learning that big dogs can be pretty fun, too.
Sweet, silly, and already impressing us daily, Jupiter is doing amazing with kennel and potty training (no accidents yet🤞🏼). She’s the best at settling in her crate, and when it’s mealtime she runs straight to her kennel and waits patiently for her food to be served like the little queen she is.
Jupiter is truly out of this world and would thrive in a patient, loving foster-to-adopt home ready to help her continue building confidence and shining bright.
