Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Ember! My name evokes meanings of 'resilience' and 'transformation.' These two things couldn't be more true for what I've gone through since coming here. I had to get some eye drops for a week, but now am all better and was able to get fully vetted! Told you, resilience and transformation! I'm still a little nervous in the shelter environment, but am a super sweet boy and just need time and a comfy new home to settle into!

Animals have to be spayed or neutered prior to leaving the shelter. This is covered completely by the adoption fee if the adopter uses one of our local approved vets. If the adopter wants to have the spay/neuter done by a different vet, AWOL will pay a portion of the cost. All animals leaving prior to being spayed/neutered require a deposit that will be returned to the adopter after proof of spay/neuter.
