Meet Rocky, the handsome athlete! Rocky is again up for adoption because as hard as his family tried, Rocky cannot seem to accept living peacefully with another male dog. He is great with the large female dogs in his home, but not the male.
Rocky is a young, neutered male who is sweet, loyal, and loves to run, snowshoe, walk, or climb with his human partner. He will also lie on the couch and watch a good movie with you and sleep quietly all night at the foot of the bed.
He will be great as an only dog or with a female (no other male dogs). Has history of doing well with children but not cats. Rocky loves hard and bonds quickly to his people. He will be your constant companion. He is happily awaiting his furrever home with a Great Dane lover!

The Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League, Inc. (MAGDRL) was organized in 1979 to serve the seven states of the Mid-Atlantic region. It now covers NY, NJ, PA, MD, DE, VA, DC, and WV.
The organization is a DC corporation and has a charitable tax-exemption under code 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
MAGDRL is staffed completely by volunteers. Therefore, 100% of the funds donated to our organization goes to helping our Great Danes.
We do not have a central location. Our dogs live in the homes of volunteers who have offered to be foster families for our dogs.
