My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌟 Meet Clover! 🌟
(Rotti mix? Supermodel? Mystery floof? You be the judge!)
Wow... what do we have here?!
Is that a 1‑year‑old Rotti mix?
A professional goofball? A canine undercover agent sent to steal hearts?
We'll let you decide - but one thing's for sure: Clover is irresistible.
This beautiful girl has just arrived from Williams Lake after being found as a stray. When no one claimed her, she packed her bags, hopped on the first transport to Chilliwack, and said, "Let's go find my people!"
And honestly? She made it just in time to make someone very, very happy.
If you're a Rotti fan - or simply a fan of adorable, enthusiastic, life‑loving dogs - you NEED to come meet Clover. She's sweet, she's charming, and she might just be the lucky charm your home has been missing. 🍀
Ready to meet her? Please fill out our pre‑adoption questionnaire, and if it's a match, one of our staff will give you a call to set up a visit.
Clover's waiting... and she's pretty sure you're worth the trip. 🐾💛

The Chilliwack Branch is an Animal Protection Centre for pets who have been rescued from abusive or neglectful homes. The Centre is open to the public by appointment only due to the security issues associated with housing animals awaiting the outcome of legal proceedings. We will accept surrendered animals by appointment only, and we are open for adoptions on special occasions.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:
