My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Grayson, lovingly known as Snuggs, is a people-devoted lap cat who thrives in a single-cat household. He lives for human connection and wants to be wherever you are, preferably on your lap or within arm’s reach. He would be an excellent companion for someone who works from home or is retired and looking for a constant, affectionate presence throughout the day.
Snuggs does not believe in closed doors. He wanders confidently from room to room and will loudly express his feelings if separated from his people. Expect frequent, heartfelt meows when a door stands between him and the humans he loves. He is also a bit of an escape artist and will test barriers if it means more together time.
If you spend your days on Zoom calls and want a cat who insists on joining every meeting, Snuggs is your guy. He is needy in the best way and happiest in a home where he can soak up endless pets, lap time, and attention.

More about this rescue

Whiskered Away is a small, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) rescue based in Philadelphia. Founded in 2026 by longtime animal advocates, we focus on Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), care for community cats, ethical rescue, and education. We started because we saw gaps in support for both animals and the people caring for them. We are small but mighty, growing intentionally, and always in need of volunteers, fosters, and donations to keep this work going.
