This helps The Humane Society of Tuolumne, Inc. with pet care costs.
Opal is a curious, energetic boy who’s always ready for playtime—whether that means chasing a wand toy, tackling a crinkly ball, or showing off his speedy zoomies with his kitty companions. He does very well with other cats and would likely thrive with a friendly feline buddy by his side to help him feel confident and keep the fun going (maybe even one of his current pals!). Opal will start off a little reserved with new people, but give him a bit of time and a calm environment, and he’ll reward you with his true personality. Once he feels comfortable, Opal’s playful and loving sides truly take center stage. If you’re hoping to welcome a loving, handsome boy who will continue to blossom as time goes on, Opal could be the one for you!
Opal is approximately 6 months old and growing quickly! You can meet him and his other kitty friends by coming by the shelter during open hours to spend time with them (no appointment needed!).
All cats/kittens will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated according to age, dewormed, and current on flea/tick prevention before adoption unless otherwise noted for age or health reasons. Please note: our kitties have been indoors-only and not accustomed to life outside and the dangers involved (cats are easy targets for predators). If you're looking for an outdoor-only cat (aka barn cat), please check out the barn cats with our friends at Tuolumne County Animal Control.
