Meet Obok
Gentle • Dog-loving • Easygoing
Name: Obok
Age: 2 years
Sex: Spayed Female
Breed: Jindo Mix
Color: Ivory
Weight: 15 kg
Height: 48 cm (shoulder height)
Rescue Story
Obok was a stray dog cared for and rescued by local residents in the community. She entered our center in January 2025 and later moved to a foster home in October. She has now been living in foster care for about 3 months, where she has been steadily settling into home life.
Human Social Skills
Obok can be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly—especially with treats. While she generally prefers dogs over people, she will approach unfamiliar people confidently if they have snacks. She may initially avoid touch from strangers, but once she feels safe, she accepts affection well and shows no resistance.
She is gentle and cooperative, making handling such as bathing easy. Obok can be comfortably lifted by placing an arm under her belly, and she does well with children under 13.
Dog Social Skills
Obok is very dog-friendly. She happily greets both familiar and unfamiliar dogs and enjoys playtime with dogs of all sizes—large, medium, or small. She especially loves male dogs and becomes noticeably more playful and affectionate around them.
She appears happiest when spending time with other dogs and tends to rely on them for comfort. Obok does best in a home with another dog, as she adapts more easily and feels more secure with canine companionship. She has no issues even with high-energy or playful dogs.
Cats
Obok has been living with a cat for the past 3 months and is doing well.
Energy Level
She has a moderate energy level. Obok enjoys outdoor activities, but once playtime is over, she settles down easily and rests quietly. When tired, she goes to her own bed and falls asleep right away.
Walks
Obok walks nicely on leash without pulling and follows her handler well. She is still nervous in busy urban areas or loud environments and may walk close to walls for reassurance.
Other Behaviors
• No resource guarding with people or dogs
• No separation anxiety; comfortable being alone
• Calm and well-behaved in a crate
• Mild motion sickness
• 100% outdoor potty trained
Obok is a quiet, calm, gentle, and sweet girl. She may be shy, but she is truly an easy dog to live with—soft-natured, well-mannered, and kind.
