Yeti,#a5747513 needs a home! He is a super sweet one year old neutered male cat, we are fostering him for the castaic shelter. He came in as an owner surrender on january 3 and he was very upset being at the shelter. He immediately relaxed in his foster home.he is great with other cats and cuddly with people. we can't keep him forever. there are other cats we need to foster which we can't do until he gets adopted.We're worried about bringing him back to the shelter as he may get stressed again. So it's really important that we find him a home while he's in foster as soon as possible. Please open your heart and your home today and adopt Yeti!

We have the potential adopter come meet the dog and bring their dog for a meet and greet. For cats, they just meet the cat by itself.

we keep our fees low to encourage adoptions of senior dogs. Our kitten fees are based on cost to S/N, vaccinate and chip them.

Go meet their pets

Some of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes throughout LA County. They can be brought to the sanctuary for you to meet. We also have dogs at the sanctuary available for adoption. Our cats and kittens are also in foster or at the sanctuary and can be brought to the sanctuary to meet. Currently we are by appointment only, but we are willing to work with your schedule. We do open houses one saturday a month.

Golden Years Dog Sanctuary, a 501c3 non-profit dog and cat rescue, is located at Goldspirit Farm, nestled at the base of Angeles National Forest in Kagel Canyon, Los Angeles County. The dogs have their own half acre run with dog houses and a dogominium complete with custom built beds, carpeting, heating and air conditioning. They also get to roam on eleven acres of doggy heaven known as Goldspirit Farm.
