Buster is a 2 and 1/2 year old 45 lb neutered male Rottweiler mix. Fully vaccinated and microchipped and heartworm negative. Came from San Antonio Texas kill shelter. Adopted as a puppy from the same shelter, but then found as a stray and returned to the same shelter. But no one reclaimed him. So our Texas team rescue pulled him and sent Buster to us after being in a foster home and updated on all vet care. He is dog and people friendly. House trained and knows 'sit' and 'paw' commands. Calm in house but stressed in a crate or kennel! Playful outside! We have to cat test him soon to see how he does with cats! He deserves a loving home! Interview
Vet reference check is done if they have or had previous pets and applicant is interviewed on phone as well to insure compatibility
Meet the Pet
A meet and greet is set up with potential adopter and pet at a agreed upon location
Home Check
Home visit is required to check the safety of the home where pet will be adopted into.
Sign Adoption Contract
Owner completes an adoption contract and I visit pet within a week at the new home.
