This is an incredibly hard decision for our family. Lucky is an 8-month-old girl (born 05/29/2025) who has brought so much joy into our home. She’s loving, playful, great with kids, and absolutely loves to run and play.
We are gone 12 and 16 hours a day, and we’ve realized that isn’ fair to her. She deserves more time, attention, and companionship than we can give right now. This breaks our hearts, but we love her enough to put her needs first.
Lucky is not a bad dog at all, she’s a wonderful puppy who just needs a home where someone is around most of the day to give her the love and activity she needs. This is the first dog we’ve had on my own, and while we tried our best, we now understand she needs more than our schedule allows.
Our kids are heartbroken, and so are we. We never imagined having to do this, but we truly want Lucky to have the happiest life possible in a patient, loving home.
Lucky was 9 lbs as of about 3 weeks ago. She will also come with her crate.
