My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey has been living an outdoor life at least since last summer, thankfully she had people looking out for her and feeding her. She was quite friendly with them and they decided to help give her a chance at finding a cushy indoor life with a loving family. She was quite shy when she first arrived, but with gentle attention from staff and volunteers she is starting to show us who she is. Her adopters will need to be understanding and loving while she settles into her new home. We know she's worth it!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adopting an animal is an exciting and important step for you and your family! Here is a brief outline of what to expect.
1. Come to our shelter and visit with the animals... come as many times as you like... you'll know when you've met "the one!"
2. Meet with an adoption counselor who will work with you to see if the animal you want can fit into your lifestyle, preferences, desires and expectations or if another would be a better match!
3. Complete the adoption paperwork and counseling session (this may take up to 45 minutes, so please be prepared to spend this time with an Adoption Counselor). You may also complete the adoption application online prior to coming to the shelter! Please note the application is an expression of interest and does guarantee animal placement.
4. Take your new best friend home!!
