Meet Celina! Celina is approximately 1 year old and is thought to be a Labrador Retriever (possibly mixed)
Celina has a very sweet & submissive temperament so far with us, and has been calm while walking on leash. We're still learning about her a little bit every day, but we think she'll do well with children & other pets as long as everyone is properly introduced and supervised. She can be shy at first, so her adult owners should make sure that children are respectful.
She appears to be potty trained as she keeps her kennel clean, but we would recommend a refresher course so that she can adjust to the new potty schedule. While she's got a moderate energy level now, it's possible that it could increase as she settles in and gains confidence, so her family should be willing to give her daily exercise along with lots of cuddles!
If you're looking for a medium sized gentle baby to add to your family, Celina would love to meet you!

We are an open-admission, county-run dog shelter that takes in dogs who are stray, surrendered or confiscated. We do partner with other shelters to take transfers whenever we can help.
