Cheeto was abandoned by her original owner. My daughter agreed to pet sit for her neighbor while he worked on resolving some legal issues. The owner never returned. My daughter has been hospitalized a few times and can no longer care for Cheeto. I am the sole caregiver to my Mom, I’m away from home 12-16 hours away from home and I cannot able to take on a pet. I have been helping my daughter give Cheeto VERY basic care (food, water, litter box cleaning). Due to our various ongoing human medical conditions, and caregiving responsibilities Cheeto does not get the love and physical attention she desperately needs. No petting, no cuddles. 😢
We do not want to take her to a shelter, so I’m really hoping to quickly place her in a foster home or a forever home that will show her the genuine love and care she needs and deserves.
