Florence is a 10-week-old, 5-pound sweetheart with a soft soul and a heart full of love. This adorable Fox Terrier/Boston Terrier mix may be small right now, but she’s expected to grow into a perfect 20–25 lb companion-sized pup — ideal for adventures AND lap time!
Florence is the gentle, thoughtful sister of the Italy Litter. She can be just a tiny bit shy at first (new people are a big deal when you’re only 10 weeks old!), but give her a minute and she warms up faster than a puppy belly in the sunshine. Once she knows you’re her friend, she’s all wiggles, cuddles, and happy little tail wags.
She absolutely LOVES other dogs and takes great comfort in having furry friends around. Playtime? Yes please! Snuggle time? Even better! Florence’s favorite hobbies include:
• Expert-level puppy cuddling
• Following her humans around like a tiny shadow
• Play wrestling with her siblings
• Collecting toys like she’s building a museum
• Random bursts of zoomies followed by immediate naps
And of course, as a certified puppy, she also comes with:
• Sharp little teeth and nails (standard puppy issue!)
• Occasional “what’s in your mouth?!” moments
• The ability to melt hearts with one look

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

(1) promote and educate the public on horse slaughter and equine abuse
(2) Rescue, retrain and rehome slaughter bound, abused, or neglected horses
(3) educate the public on proper horse care and husbandry
(4) offer assistance to equine owners in times of natural or personal disaster
(5) rehabilitate neglected and abused equines
(6) accept donations of rehomeable equines for adoption and placement
(7) adopt equines into thoroughly vetted homes
