Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Angel is a sweet, 13-year-old girl with a lot of spunk left. She loves to be near people and to snuggle up in comfy blankets. A mid-day snooze is most likely to be expected from this senior lady. Angel likes to hide treats for later in case she needs an afternoon snack. You can tell Angel is happy when she hops up and down, ears flopping and tail is curled and wagging. She is not late to tell you she wants attention and she's hard to resist with her warm, welcoming smile! Angel has tried living with animals in the past but has come to the decision she wants to be an only pet. Angel recently had her right eye surgically removed and is looking for a calm home where she can learn to navigate with one eye. Despite the cold, Angel enjoys outdoor time and walks. She's housetrained and good with children!
If you would love to meet Angel, please click the grey "Apply for Adoption" button and fill out the adoption profile. We will review your profile and get in touch to schedule a time for you to come in.

Adopting an animal is an exciting and important step for you and your family! Here is a brief outline of what to expect.
1. Come to our shelter and visit with the animals... come as many times as you like... you'll know when you've met "the one!"
2. Meet with an adoption counselor who will work with you to see if the animal you want can fit into your lifestyle, preferences, desires and expectations or if another would be a better match!
3. Complete the adoption paperwork and counseling session (this may take up to 45 minutes, so please be prepared to spend this time with an Adoption Counselor). You may also complete the adoption application online prior to coming to the shelter! Please note the application is an expression of interest and does guarantee animal placement.
4. Take your new best friend home!!
