Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact Terri (tavalquier@outlook.com), (402) 504-2913 for more information about this pet.sweet, affectionate, lap lover

Meet Princess ‍⬛

Princess is a gorgeous black beauty who has spent the last several years living in a nursing home with her beloved previous owner, where she brought comfort, companionship, and plenty of sweet conversations to everyone around her. At 12 years young, she is absolutely sweet, loves to talk, and will happily tell you all about her day.

She does just fine with other cats but strongly prefers a dog-free home. Princess’s favorite place in the world is your lap, where she can curl up and snooze contentedly while soaking up all the love she can get.

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate senior kitty with a big heart and an even bigger love for lap naps, Princess is ready to be someone’s special companion once again.

Go meet their pets

Every Saturday (except holiday weekends) we have adoptable cats at Petco on 72nd and Dodge in Omaha from 11am-3pm. Adoptable cats also live in cages there and are available during Petco's regular business hours. We also have cats ready for adoption at Petsmart in Council Bluffs. They are available during business hours as well.

More about this rescue

By definition, the word "solace" means "that which furnishes comfort or consolation." Coincidentally, SOLAS, although it is spelled differently, provides the same thing for many unwanted dogs, cats, and other animals living in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area. S.O.L.A.S. is a 501(c)3 Not for Profit organization.
