Pippa J - How could anyone resist this loveable face!
1..5 year old, 45 pound mixed breed female.
Pros:
- incredibly intelligent: she is easily trainable. She doesn’t respond well to raised voices. She will do best with at least one female in the home.
- crate trained
- potty trained
- okay with indoor cats
- not food aggressive
-raised with other dogs
- loves cuddles
—loves kids
Areas for Improvement:
- obedience outdoors: She gets a bit too excited when the door opens and way too curious to always stay by your side.
- table hopping. She’s an indoor and outdoor climber
- playful nipper: She’s still learning gentle play but is showing improvement as she’s gotten older.
- chases small creatures and returns the dead ones to the doorstep(mostly voles).
Pippa J will make be a loyal family dog.
Spayed, up to date on vaccines, ready to bounce off to a forever home.

Additional adoption info
Fees range between $150-$650. An adoption application, followed by a check of references, such as Veterinarian, and a home check and or pictures. After which the board will go over all the information and decide what is the best for the animal.

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
