My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nigel — A Shy Little Guardian with a Heart of Gold

Nigel may share his name with the brave pelican from Finding Nemo, but in real life he’s a super shy yet very sweet kitty who takes his time to trust new waters. He’s looking for a quiet, indoor-only home where patience, gentle care, and calm routines are the current guiding his way.

Nigel may be okay with quiet teens who respect boundaries, but one thing is essential: other friendly cats are a MUST HAVE. Having feline “reef friends” helps him feel safe and confident as he navigates his new surroundings. He’s unsure about dogs, so a peaceful, bark-free environment is best. Nigel will need lots of extra time to adjust and bond, but once he does, his sweet, loyal nature soars.

Nigel’s Perfect Setup:
Plenty of cozy hiding and napping spots for quiet observation
Cat trees, scratching posts, shelves, and window perches for surveying his territory
Tons of toys, especially interactive and catnip-filled ones

Favorite Things:
Treats, wet food, catnip, and calm companionship

If your home has patient, friendly feline companions and you believe in letting a shy soul take his time, Nigel is ready to glide into your heart—one gentle flap at a time.
