Her Story
Itty Bitty came to us from a reservation when she was very pregnant and looking for a safe place to land. She settled in like a total pro, raised her beautiful litter of puppies, and now, it is finally Itty Bitty’s turn to be the baby of the family!

The Perfect Roommate: She is a "friend to all"—she gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is respectful of cats, and is gentle with children. She’s a true "plug-and-play" pup for almost any household.
Smart & Scrappy: We recently got the DNA results back for one of her puppies, which showed a heavy mix of German Shepherd and Australian Cattle Dog. This explains her intelligence and her loyal, "velcro dog" nature!

The dogs in our care will be adopted out with an updated vet exam, they will be up to date on their rabies (if of age), and DHPP. All dogs will also be microchipped and dewormed. If they are of age, they will also be altered. We do not do pediatric spays or neuters so a deposit is required at the time of adoption, once the dog is altered, the deposit will be returned.
Due to the American Veterinary Medical Association's recommendation to not spay/neuter dogs under 6 or 12 months depending on breed and our vets recommendation. Large-breed puppies under 6-months will not be altered prior to adoption but do require a deposit that will be returned once your dog is altered. Small breed and adults that are 6-months or older, will be done prior to adoption.
During the time spent at Forever Fido, all dogs will be socialized with many confident and social dogs of all ages, safely interact with kids of many ages, appropriately meet a variety of humans, start potty and crate training, and begin basic puppy manners including impulse control.

We are a rescue aiming to create a community that recognizes and prioritizes each dog’s individual needs and well-being through all stages of their life. Our goal is to reduce the number of animals being re-homed, surrendered to shelters, or living in unfair environments.
