Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Chadwick 🖤🐾
Chadwick is a 5-year-old Black Domestic Shorthair who’s had a bit of a rough start, but is now hoping to find his true forever family. He was found as a stray, though it’s clear he was loved and cared for at some point—he likely had a home for quite a while before ending up on his own.
Right now, Chadwick isn’t at his happiest. Shelter life can be overwhelming, and he’s still figuring things out. But with a little time, patience, and understanding, this handsome boy is sure to warm up and show what a great cat he truly is. Beneath the stress is a cat with a solid temperament and a lot of potential.
Chadwick does well with kids, dogs, and other cats, and he is house trained, making him a great fit for many types of homes. He just needs someone willing to give him the chance to decompress and feel safe again.
He is up to date on vaccinations, weighs 10 pounds, and is ready to start his next chapter. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little time to trust again, Chadwick could be the perfect addition to your family 🖤🐱
Chadwick's Adoption fee is $60 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
