She’s super sweet and affectionate, the kind of pup who will happily soak up love from her people. Because she’s still young and full of energy, Miss Plum would benefit from a little practice and guidance around cats and older dogs—she can be a bit too playful for them right now.
With a loving home that can continue her training and give her plenty of play, cuddles, and structure, Miss Plum is going to be an amazing lifelong companion. She’s ready to give her whole heart to a family who will do the same.

A meet and greet will be arranged so that your whole family can meet your new pet before adopting him/her. We want to make sure it is a good fit since it is a commitment for the animal’s lifetime.

SPOT was created to fill the need to save animals who “fall through the cracks” in our sheltering system. Local shelters are overwhelmed—they receive so many strays and owner turn-ins that they run out of space and have to kill thousands of animals each year. The majority of these animals are healthy and simply need to be placed into a home. Others are medical cases which require some work, but do not have life-threatening diseases or injuries. And a few have some moderate behavior issues; we work with specialists to correct these behaviors before finding them their forever home. The bottom line is SPOT can save these lives.
