If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Huck is around 12 years old. We adopted him in 2017 when they estimated him to be 3 years old.
Unfortunately, my home life has changed. I am divorced and both grown adult children have moved out of state for college. I work six days a week and away from the home anywhere from 12 to 15 hours depending on traffic. Huck is left home alone. He is not receiving the attention and the care that he deserves. I cannot provide it solely on my own.
I am hoping to rehome him to a family, or someone who can give him the time and day that he deserves. I do not want to surrender him to a shelter because of his age he may not be eligible for adoption. Serious inquiries only, please.
