If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Hunter is a 13-year-old senior dog with a big heart and a deep love for his people. He spent most of his life with my partner’s mom, and after she passed away, he came to live with us. Now he’s looking for a calm, loving home to enjoy his golden years.
Hunter is very people-oriented and forms a strong bond with his person. He’s food-motivated, loves going on walks, enjoys being outside, and still likes to run around and explore. He does great with small children and loves human attention.
Hunter can coexist with other dogs but prefers calm dogs who respect his space, especially around food. He would do best with slow introductions and clear boundaries. He does not do well with cats.
Hunter would thrive in a home that understands senior dogs and is looking for a loyal, loving companion.
