My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leefa is currently located at the EAC in Westminster (10460 Town Center Dr, Westminster, CO, 80021) and can be visited from 10am-6pm Sat/Sun and 12pm-7pm Mon-Fri! Email our EAC team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information!

Meet Leefa, a beautiful 1-year-old girl with a playful spirit and a heart just waiting to shine. She can be a little shy and cautious when meeting new people, but give her a little time, a few treats, and some gentle baby talk, and you’ll quickly see her blossom into the affectionate, fun-loving pup she truly is.

Leefa is full of energy and absolutely loves to play, especially with her doggy friends—she gets along wonderfully with other pups and would be thrilled to have a playful companion. Once she feels comfortable, her bright personality really comes out, and you’ll discover a goofy, lively girl who brings joy and excitement wherever she goes.

With a bit of patience and a lot of love, Leefa will reward her person with loyalty, laughter, and endless fun. Whoever is lucky enough to welcome this special girl into their life is sure to gain an incredible companion.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adoptable animals are located at our Taft Campus at 2200 N Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524 or for more info call 970-484-8516.

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
