My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Clamshell! I may start off quiet, but there is a whole lot of personality waiting inside.
When I arrive in a new home, I like to find a safe, cozy hiding spot and take my time getting comfortable. I can be shy and need a little patience at first. Gentle pets and treats are the way to my heart. Once I feel safe, though, I completely transform.

I am high energy, playful, and very cuddly. I seek out affection and love being pet. I am still figuring out how I feel about being held for long periods, but I will happily curl up next to you. I have bonded with a medium sized dog and loved playing and snuggling once I warmed up. I have not met another cat yet.

My perfect home is peaceful and patient in the beginning, but ready for full on love and fun once I come out of my shell. Give me a little time, and I will give you my whole heart.

I qualify for the Welcome Trial program, which means you can take me home for up to 14 days to make sure I’m the perfect fit before making things official.

With love,
Clamshell
