Maomao is a Shih Tzu. She grew up with me since I bought her in Eastvale, CA when she was 2 months old. She is now 5 years old. I would describe her as docile, timid, and spaced-out. It is a low-energy commitment to take care of her. She only understands Mandarin Chinese and Sichuanese dialect, because those are the languages I use with her. She likes to play fetch with you, and she can even play with the ball by herself. She prefers soft balls. She enjoys tummy rubs. On walks, she does not get distracted by smells or other dogs and stays by your heel. But she doesn't like to run if you want to run. Unfortunately, she is not potty trained well. She doesn't enjoy getting her nails clipped. She seems to have an issue in her right eye that doesn't affect her vision. She currently has ear mites.
