Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Millie! 🐾
- the little shadow who just wants to be part of your world. ✨
This sweet black-and-white beauty has a gentle soul and a heart full of love. Millie may greet new situations with a bit of shyness, but give her a moment and she’ll quietly blossom into the most affectionate, devoted companion. Once she feels safe, she’s happiest right by your side, soaking up pets and sharing soft, chatty commentary about her day. 🖤🤍
Millie adores her people and wants to be involved in everything you do. Whether it’s playtime with feather wand toys 🪶, enjoying her favorite wet food and treats 🍽️, or curling up for cozy snuggles, she finds joy in simple moments together. She’s playful, gentle, and incredibly sweet — the kind of cat who makes a house feel like home.
Her journey began at a local shelter after being found as a stray, and now she’s ready for her next chapter. Millie would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can take her time settling in and receive plenty of attention, reassurance, and affection. In return, she’ll offer endless devotion and quiet companionship. 💕
** Millie MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat. She would love to be adopted with her best friend Phoebe, but it’s not required. (Adopt a 2nd kitty with Millie for ½ the adoption fee!) She needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. She needs a family who will give her lots of love, attention, and playtime. **
Millie does well with other cats after proper introductions. We don’t think she would do well in a home with dogs. She does well with respectful, gentle children, and she is litter box trained.
If you’re looking for a tender-hearted kitten who will grow into your loyal little sidekick, Millie may be the one you’ve been waiting for. 💫

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens in need. We are based out of Davis County, Utah and we help many of our local and surrounding shelters.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric, neonatal, sick, injured and cats who are often overlooked or struggling at shelters. The cats/kittens then go into foster homes, and as needed, we get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption/foster program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We also care for many special needs cats, hospice cats, special needs/senior feral cats who can’t be released outdoors and other cats with needs that essentially make them “unadoptable”. Those kitties stay in our program as permanent fosters, so they will always get the care that they need.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for dozens of community-cats daily. We also assist low-income families with medical care and food for their animals as we are able to.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the community to care for the animals in our organization. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well when we are able, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives. We will continue to save more and more lives every year!
