Meet Dawson, Daire & Davinci — our St. Augustine Street Survivors 💫
These three sweet boys were picked up off the streets of St. Augustine by Animal Control, scared and unsure of the world. Thankfully, they found their way to Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue, where we placed this frightened trio with one of our most experienced and loving fosters — someone with a true gift for helping undersocialized kittens learn that humans are safe, kind, and pretty great to cuddle with.
With patience, consistency, and lots of love, these boys blossomed. What once were timid little souls have turned into supreme darlings who enjoy human interaction and have discovered how wonderful it is to be cherished.
Dawson & Daire are handsome tuxedo boys with matching good looks and big personalities. They are kind-hearted, playful, and full of mischievous charm. These two love café life, enjoy meeting visitors, and are always happy to be part of the action. If you’re looking for confident, social kittens who will keep you smiling, these boys are it.
Davinci, our stunning Siamese mix boy, brings all the classic Siamese traits — intelligent, curious, sensitive, and quietly observant. He’s vocal in his own way, thoughtful, and deeply aware of his surroundings. Davinci is still adjusting to the busy café environment and is taking a little extra time to feel fully comfortable. Once he has acclimated and feels secure, he’ll be ready to find his forever home.
These boys are a beautiful example of what patience and love can do. From frightened street kittens to socialized little angels — their journey has been nothing short of incredible.

We gather information on all of our new families and require an application and a phone consultation for a kitty visit.

Meet the Pet
If your family is a good match for an available kitty, we will schedule a visit so you can meet your pet and ensure it is the right fit!

Sign Adoption Contract
Your kitty will be wormed, up to date on vaccines and flea prevention, microchipped and spayed or neutered.

Thank you for your interest in our precious foster kittens. All our new families will answer some basic questions as part of our application process. Once we receive your response, we will contact you within 48 hours to discuss your application and provide details about your desired kitten. Thank you for choosing to adopt a homeless kitty!

We are a foster based rescue. Our kitties are raised in loving foster homes, so they are socialized, love people and have good potty habits. Some are already adjusted to busy households with dogs, other adult cats and children. Please send us an inquiry and we will schedule a meet and greet.

Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue
We are a foster based rescue providing home care havens for kittens in need.
We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization supported by a network of volunteer fosters. We provide urgent care to neonate and sick kittens in need of life saving support.
We provide a haven to kittens until they are thriving and ready for spay and neuter surgery and then adoption.
Kittens under eight weeks old are one of the most at-risk populations in the United States, being killed or allowed to die by the hundreds of thousands every year. Our vision is that all neonatal, sick and other at-risk kittens are given a chance to grow and thrive through life-saving fosters and then adoption. Join us in the fight to stop euthanasia of orphaned kittens and share our dream that one day animals will no longer be killed in America's shelters. We believe every life is important, no matter how small.
