Meet GINGER!

Ginger is a sweet, easygoing light colored beagle weighing 27 pounds whos ready for her forever home. She loves long naps in cozy dog beds, enjoys her toys, and is very treat-motivated (classic beagle!).

Ginger is potty and crate trained, with only an occasional accident. Ginger has mild anxiety that is well controlled with medication, helping her stay calm, comfortable, and settled.

Ginger gets along great with other dogs, does well with kids, and is comfortable with both men and women. As a typical beagle, Gingers bark may be loud at times, so a home without shared walls would be the best fit.

Gentle, affectionate, and snuggly, Ginger would make a wonderful companion for a family or an individual and is ready to steal your heart.

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
