Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ashton is a handsome, loving puppy who has enjoyed all the best parts of puppy life alongside his four siblings. His journey began when his mama was searching for a safe place to give birth, and a kind family stepped in to help her welcome five beautiful babies into the world. Ashton and his brothers thrived in that loving temporary home, growing strong and confident until they were ready to begin their own paths and enter the shelter. Ashton is a happy, adventurous little guy who greets each day with enthusiasm. He adores cuddles from volunteers, has a healthy appetite, and is already familiar with his crate. Curious, playful, and full of puppy charm, Ashton is now ready to start the next chapter of his life—this time without his siblings—by finding his very own forever family to love and grow with. 🐾
DOB: 11/21/25 Weight: 15 lbs. AAR does not transport for adoption.

More about this rescue
Abandoned Animal Rescue is a no-kill dog / cat shelter located in Magnolia serving Northwest Harris and Southern Montgomery Counties in Texas. It is staffed by dedicated volunteers devoted to saving the lives of homeless and unwanted companion animals.
AAR's mission is to work towards ending pet overpopulation that results in the euthanasia of unwanted cats and dogs. We do this by providing a rescue and adoption center, by emphasizing the importance of spaying and neutering and by educating on humane animal ownership. AAR is committed to the emotional, physical, and behavioral well being of each animal in our care.
All animals surrendered to the shelter are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and wormed; dogs are tested for heartworms and, if positive, are treated prior to adoption.
All operating money for AAR comes from adoption fees, donations, and fundraisers. AAR receives no government money or assistance.
