My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Percy! I’m a handsome tuxedo guy with a friendly, outgoing personality. I was previously an indoor/outdoor cat and was surrendered because I wasn’t getting along with the other cats in my home. Since arriving at the shelter, I’ve met some other cats and have done okay with them. I can be picky about my dog friends, and I tolerate young children, but I’m friendly with people of all other ages.

I would benefit from slow, thoughtful introductions to any other animals in my new home. It’s unknown whether I’d be content as an indoor-only cat or if I might try to sneak outside, but if I do continue indoor/outdoor life, it would need to be in a safe location - and just to be clear, I am not a barn cat!

I’m active and love to play. I am currently a bit overweight and will need help slimming down for my health. I’m known to beg for food (even at night!) and can be vocal about it. I’m a curious, affectionate kitty looking for my forever home - come meet me!
