Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🍀 Kiryu: Your Lucky Charm in Giant Form 🍀
They say everyone hopes to find a little luck on St. Patrick’s Day… but what if your luck came in the form of a very handsome, very sweet, very large Great Dane mix named Kiryu?
😍 At 7 years old, Kiryu has officially reached the wonderful stage of life where he’s traded puppy chaos for calm companionship and big-hearted loyalty. He’s a gentle giant with a soft soul who truly loves everyone he meets. Don’t let the size fool you...underneath that big frame is a total sweetheart who just wants to be close to his people.
🐕 Kiryu is the kind of dog who believes the best things in life are simple:
• Kind words
• Gentle pets
• A comfy spot near his favorite human (bonus points if it’s the couch or big, soft bed)
💙 He’s affectionate, loving, and known to lean in close when he gets attention, which is basically his way of giving you a big Kiryu hug. People often call him a “big baby,” and honestly… they’re not wrong. 😊
While some people search for four-leaf clovers, the truth is, finding a dog like Kiryu is the real jackpot. He’s loyal, steady, and ready to share his enormous heart with a family who will love him right back. 💞
So this month, if you’ve been wishing for a little extra luck in your life, Kiryu might just be the lucky charm you’ve been waiting for. ✨
Because the best kind of luck…
is finding the dog who’s meant to be yours. 🍀🐾
We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason.
Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.
