Meet Peter

Peter is a 6-year-old Shepherd/Lab mix with the perfect balance of playful energy and laid-back charm. Weighing in at 45 pounds, he loves romping around outside, playing fetch, and soaking up fresh air—but he’s just as happy relaxing by your side afterward.

A total cuddle bug, Peter thrives on affection and would gladly be your go-to snuggle buddy. He’s a fantastic family dog (cats unknown) who’s gentle, loyal, and eager to be part of everyday life.

Peter is fully potty and crate trained, making him an easy and well-mannered companion. He's neutered and up to date on his vaccinatons. Whether it’s outdoor adventures or cozy nights in, Peter is ready to be your best friend through it all

Everyone MUST submit an application to be considered for adoption

Interview

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

Home Check

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

Pay Fee

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
