Meet Honey!
Honey is a 6-week-old female Pit mix who is just as sweet as her name suggests. She and her mom and siblings were heartbreakingly dumped at an abandoned house, but were thankfully brought into a safe, loving foster home just before the winter freeze. Now that she’s warm, healthy, and thriving, Honey is ready to start her journey toward a forever family.
Honey is the kind of puppy that quickly melts hearts. She loves to play with her siblings, pounce on toys, and explore her surroundings with that classic puppy curiosity — but she equally adores cuddle time and will happily snuggle up whenever given the chance. She brings a beautiful balance of fun energy and gentle affection.
She is already showing signs of being a wonderfully well-rounded pup, doing great with kids, other dogs, chickens, and goats. Even better, at just six weeks old, Honey is young enough to adapt seamlessly to almost any home environment. Whether your household is lively or more relaxed, she has the temperament to grow into an incredible lifelong companion.
Honey will be eligible to go to a foster-to-adopt home starting 2/14/2026!
Foster-to-adopt allows you to bring Honey home while we complete her remaining vetting. Once everything is finished, you’ll finalize the adoption and make her officially yours.

All of our pets are in foster homes, so they would visit our website or social media to find a pet

We have an adoption application online that has to be submitted before any action is taken.
Interview
I, or a team member, interview the potential adopter via phone call and then the foster interviews them as well.
Approve Application
The adopter must be vetted and approved prior to any further steps.
Meet the Pet
If the adopter is local, they would schedule a meet and greet with the foster at this time. If they are out of state, they would video chat.
