My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Don't let that initial hiss fool you—Wren is all bark and no bite, a confident little firecracker wrapped in sleek black fur. This gorgeous girl has opinions and she's not afraid to share them, but her tough-girl act is just that: an act. Underneath that spicy exterior beats the heart of a total sweetheart.

Once Wren decides you're worthy (which honestly doesn't take long), you'll be treated to her legendary lawn mower purr, a rumbling motor of contentment that could probably be heard from the next room. She's a chatty companion who'll keep up a running commentary on her day, your day, and everything in between. Life with Wren is never quiet, and that's exactly how she likes it.

This athletic little powerhouse is playfulness personified. She zooms, she pounces, she climbs; Wren approaches play with the intensity of an Olympic athlete and the joy of a kitten who knows how to live life to the fullest. Her energy is infectious and her acrobatics are endlessly entertaining.

And yes, she's absolutely obsessed with churus and Catit sticks. Wave one of those in her direction and watch Miss Hard-to-Get transform into your very best friend in approximately 0.5 seconds.

Wren needs a home that appreciates her big personality and can match her playful energy. In return, you'll get a loyal, affectionate companion who keeps life interesting.

All Stray to Spay cats & kittens are: Fully vaccinated, Spayed/neutered, Dewormed, Triple tested (FeLV, FIV, Heartworm). Adoption includes an application, vet/reference check & virtual home visit. All of our cats are fostered indoors in loving Omaha-area homes until they find their forever family!

More about this rescue

Stray to Spay is a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) organization dedicated to helping community cats.
