My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tiana! 🐾
✨The little seal point sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger heart! ✨

This short-haired beauty is equal parts playful kitten and affectionate cuddlebug. With her striking seal point coloring and the most adorable meow, Tiana has a way of charming everyone she meets. 🐾💕

Tiana is friendly, gentle, and deeply devoted to her people. She loves all toys (especially spring toys!) and can turn a simple cardboard box into hours of entertainment 📦😹. When playtime winds down, she’s happiest right by your side—following you from room to room, chatting sweetly, and asking (politely, of course) for attention and snuggles. She’s curious, goofy, energetic, and endlessly lovable. 💖

Tiana would thrive in a quiet home with a patient person or two who can give her time to settle in, along with plenty of playtime and cozy cuddles .🛋️🐱 She may be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and blossoms into the sweetest companion.

This special girl has already overcome so much. After being rescued from a heartbreaking situation at a veterinary clinic where she was going to be euthanized, Tiana received treatment with us for a tummy infection and made a full recovery! 🌈✨ Because of her sensitive tummy, she does best staying on her current food (Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach) and benefits from portioned meals—mostly because she really loves food and is a delightfully plump teenage kitten. 🥰🍽️

** Tiana MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat. (Adopt a 2nd kitty with Tiana for ½ the adoption fee!) She needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. She needs a family who will give her lots of love, attention, and playtime. She needs to be kept on her food for her sensitive tummy as well. **

Tiana does well with other cats after proper introductions. She hasn’t been around dogs. She does well with respectful, gentle children, and she is litter box trained.

If you’re ready to fall in love with a talkative, cuddly, joy-filled kitty, Tiana is ready to meet you! 💕

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens in need. We are based out of Davis County, Utah and we help many of our local and surrounding shelters.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric, neonatal, sick, injured and cats who are often overlooked or struggling at shelters. The cats/kittens then go into foster homes, and as needed, we get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption/foster program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We also care for many special needs cats, hospice cats, special needs/senior feral cats who can’t be released outdoors and other cats with needs that essentially make them “unadoptable”. Those kitties stay in our program as permanent fosters, so they will always get the care that they need.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for dozens of community-cats daily. We also assist low-income families with medical care and food for their animals as we are able to.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the community to care for the animals in our organization. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well when we are able, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives. We will continue to save more and more lives every year!
