Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue
Meow meet Jackey! At 9 months old, she is still learning that the world can be kind. She’s timid with pets at first and may hesitate, but with patience, time and a soft touch, she begins to relax and enjoy gentle affection. She will need time to adjust in a new home and would thrive in a calm, peaceful environment with minimal noise. A quiet household will help her feel secure and allow her sweet personality to slowly shine through. She isn’t a cat who rushes trust - but once earned, it’s truly special. She does well with other cats and would be ok with older respectful children who understand giving her space and time. She came to the rescue with her brother Boone, though they are not bonded and do not need to be adopted together. If you have a patient heart and a quiet home, she’s waiting for someone who will let her grow, one gentle moment at a time.

Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
