My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eggo
When you look up the definition of “loyal” in the dictionary, there’s just a picture of Eggo. He cannot bear to be away from you because his greatest mission in life is to be your constant companion, supporting you with purrs, affection, and cuddles. Whether he’s warming your lap, being held like a baby, or perching on your shoulder, Eggo believes all cuddles are the best cuddles.

Like a typical orange cat, Eggo’s heart is far bigger than his brain, but luckily, he has learned he can purr his way out of any sticky situation he finds himself in. There’s no regrets for Eggo, only opportunities to be held.

Speaking of loyalty, Eggo has a little buddy of his own— his brother Kashi. They are a bonded pair and want to stay together forever. So if you’re looking for the cutest little sidekicks around, check out Eggo and Kashi!

More about this rescue

Chain of Hope is a passionate animal rescue organization committed to giving forgotten and neglected animals a second chance. We work every day to rescue those who are suffering, provide medical care and rehabilitation, and place them in loving forever homes.

We believe in breaking the cycle of neglect through education, outreach, and direct action. Whether it’s pulling a dog from the streets, helping a pet owner with resources, or speaking up for those who can’t, our mission is rooted in compassion and hope.
