Here at Staten Island Hope animal rescue we have just witnessed the most amazing friendship blossom between Garbanzo and Christina
Garbanzo and Christina are two Rescue cats that met in their foster home
Garbanzo is a 4 year-old orange and white male cat
Christina is a 10 month female tabby kitten
When they met in their foster home, it was an instant connection
And they took to each other immediately
The two of them are now inseparable
If one is not around the other, one cries looking for the other
Garbanzo and Christina love to be together 24/7
They love to cuddle and groom each other
They both get along very well with other cats as they are being fostered in a home with cats
Christina and garbanzo are very friendly and love to be around people too
They both enjoy being Pet and playing
It is so amazing to witness the bond that they have made in such a short period of time
Christina may think garbanzo is her father or older brother & adores him
But whatever the case may be, they love each other and we would like to see them adopted together in a home as a pair
It is obvious they cannot be separated
Owning bonded, cats is such a special experience and there’s nothing else in the world like it

A rescue volunteer will visit your home to make sure it is a good fit with our adoptable cat

Once your home check is approved we will delivery your new cat

To adopt a pet the first step is filling out a application where we ask basics on previous pet ownership, references for veterinary care and reasons for wanting to adopt. Our fee for cats/kitten adoption is 180.00 per pet which is not refundable, however any pet adopted through our organization which cannot stay in the home for any reason is able to be returned to our rescue group. Following approval of application we require a home visit to assure the basic necessities for the animal are in place and that its a safe environment. If approved the new adopters are able to adopt the cat
