My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Percy is a 1.5 yr. young blue boy with a docked tail that came into rescue with his "baby momma", Lucy. As it turns out, Percy does best as an only dog. He loves attention from his humans and will cuddle all day with you! Because of Percy's size and exuberance (83 lbs), we think he would do best in a home with no small children (and no cats). Percy is crate trained and housebroken. Percy will need a forever family that is willing to give him tons of exercise and structure.

More about this rescue

The Atlanta Weimaraner Club Rescue (“AWCR”) is a group of Weimaraner enthusiasts and owners in the Atlanta area. The mission of the club is to provide Weimaraner owners with a place to meet folks that enjoy doing things with their Weimaraners. In addition to the social aspect of the club, the Atlanta Weimaraner Club Rescue provides for the rescue, care, and adoption of lost, surrendered and homeless Weimaraners.

The AWCR assists in re-homing Weimaraners by providing foster homes. The funds for the rescue program are raised through various fundraising events and donations. The Club also provides public education on the breed and responsible dog ownership.
